Our Mission
We strive to create an inclusive community by hosting casual study breaks and peer mentorship opportunities, alongside professional development opportunities and speaker events. WiP invites students of all gender identities who support the advancement of women in physics to join.
Women in Physics (WiP) at the University of Pennsylvania aims to support undergraduate students of marginalized genders who are underrepresented in physics.

Announcements
Ongoing: Graduation Cords and Merch
For those graduating that did not grab cords, the Women in Physics graduation cords will be available for pick up in the second floor physics office.
Also, all members should stay tuned for the upcoming release of Women in Physics merchandise and stickers!
Completed: Physics Lounge Renovation Project
This summer, we focused on enhancing the undergraduate physics lounge in our science building. We introduced new furniture, decorations, and a large 5 by 6 ft mural, embodying our commitment to creating a welcoming space for collaboration and relaxation. We also incorporated some of the origami and art created during our events this year into the lounge, and we invited everyone to submit their design ideas.
Upcoming: AWM Student Talks
In partnership with the American Women in Math (AWM) organization, we are excited to announce the AWM student talks. These provide a platform for intellectual exchange, and students at the University of Pennsylvania can sign up for these talks by emailing the AWM coordinator.
